and here are the Experts opinions again...
now some boring details... each Expert ranks the contestants using whatever criteria they want... "favorite" or "sucks the least", it doesn't matter... each first place vote gets the contestant 1 point, second place is 2 points, and so on... the total points are shown in the bottom table...
"AVG" ranking can be described as "how close to the Consensus are your picks" with 9.0 being the consensus, but a more detailed (read more boring) explanation is...
for each expert, take their #1 pick, see how many total points that contestant received overall, and divide that by the total points for the overall #1 pick... do the same for their #2 pick, and so on... then add all those numbers together...
I used these first selections from the other thread but if anyone would like to add theirs (or change the ones listed) let me know in this thread by noon of the day of the results show

Okay, I'll play, although this is very rough and will most definitely change as soon as I hear them all sing again. I barely remember 3 of the 6 girls, so I bunched them together more or less. I'm pretty sure this will mix things up considerably as well.

thanks, Stella... it's good to be back...
your picks had very little effect on the range of Experts scores... but they did make Dawn and Buckeye switch places... and they also switched up the contestants rankings quite a bit
I'm not sure what anyone's picks mean other than the obvious effects, it's just interesting to me as a number geek

UPDATED (sorry Roi)- After a little more thought, considering the country vote for Skylar. The girlie vote for Phillip. Considering the bottom 2 will be Jeremy or Jermaine, and Shannon or Elise, and considering that the bottom 2 will be 1 guy and 1 girl, and considering that the judges will NOT let either Jeremy or Jermaine go home.... (whew!) Shannon or Elise will be going home.
