I watched most of it... it was entertaining...

but it's difficult for me to judge the contestants... since they're singing a duet with a star...

I mean... is Jennifer Nettles' partner better than Kelly Clarkson's partner? or is country better than pop?

so yea.. for me.. it was entertaining seeing the performances, but it didn't pique my reality show interest...

They were all very good but the dorky looking guy from Jennifer's hometown John Glosson had easily the best voice I had heard from the first six contestants. I will listen to the last two with open ears but this guy is going to be very hard to beat vocally in my opinion.

Jordin Kelly's second partner and final performer of the night has a very nice voice but the pink hair and lip ring isn't going to help her in a competition like this. I heard that Kelly's partners were in the last two spots so I already know she is one of the bottom two. It won't bother me to see her eliminated as they are all very good. I am wondering if Kelly scored better than the other judges and that was why hers were the last two.

OK time for others to state their Favorite. I have named mine based on voice alone is John Glosson.

I made it through the first show. I lost interest therein. I have not watched any further.

I watched the first show and thought it was just okay. I'm watching right now and cooking at the same time, so I only heard John Legend's gal from the kitchen and have sat down to listen to Kelly's gal. The pink haired girl is very good. John Legend sure has a lot of criticisms and I think it could be him who is rating both of Kelly's contenders really low. Jealous maybe? I don't know.

I'm a redhead. Deal with it!

I don't think anyone else is here in the forum, so I'll go back to just watching and cooking and then eating. That's enough multi-tasking for me. See you all later.

Loved Robin and Kelly doing State of Shock. Much better than the Jackson's IMO. I know that is sacrilege.

WOW first song is John and Brenda covering George Michael and Aretha's I knew you were waiting for me. I think George Michael is way underrated by most people just because he is kind of a perv but the man has about the purest male voice I have ever heard in pop music. John will have a tall order covering him. I actually think Aretha is a little bit easier to cover.

I think they were OK but bit off a bit more than they could chew. Brenda maybe blended too well with John because sometimes when they sang together her voice disappeared.
